I know, the proportions are all off. I do this whenever I do this view of the face!! Damnit, damnit, damnit!! I need to work from life. . . .

Anyways, this is a portrait of a character named Mackenzie Blaise from a story I'm reading and am sickly fascinated with. . .Tales of MU! It's about a magical college. 0_o

Yea, it's kinda crappy, but I like the general mood, and I like her hair. But the damn perspective!! GAAAAAAAH

ToMU fanart! That always makes me happy :D And in general, I think this is a wonderful representation of Mack. The expression, the features, the overall feel of it is great. I think possibly some of the details in the skin textures are a little too sharp, taking some of the youthfulness away from her face and making her seem a little older than college age. (I tend to do that when I work in pencil as well) That view can be difficult to pull off, though, when not working from a reference, and I think you did a terrific job!
